LETS TALK A LITTLE MORE ABOUT RMRI, INC. AND IT'S COMPETITION

RMRI, Inc. Mission Statement:

"RMRI, Inc. will provide the client with detailed, accurate, and comprehensive answers, reports, and solutions in a timely and legal manner without forsaking quality, integrity and ethics"

RMRI, Inc. has the latest equipment to work with, state of the art computers and software, an unbeatable combination of surveillance equipment, a wide array of proprietary information databases, and the experience necessary to know how to operate it, we have the resources to get you the answers that you need quickly and effectively.

RMRI, Inc. has three licensed Private Investigators and two highly skilled technical consultants on staff. Ricky Gurley manages this team of highly skilled professionals; having been involved in Private Investigation work and Recovery Operations for over eighteen years there are not many cases and situations in the Private Investigation arena that he has not confronted.

Karen Giboney brings over twenty one years of Law Enforcement Experience to RMRI, Inc. twelve of those years being spent as a Detective with a Regional Major Crimes Unit investigating everything from assault to homicide.

Angela Sloop brings several degrees in psychology and forensics to RMRI, Inc. and actively works as a psychometrist at Missouri Univeristy.

Herbert Wolverson and Stephen Turner work as sub-contractors for RMRI, Inc. and bring over forty years of combined experience to RMRI, Inc. Both are qualified expert witnesses in various high technology subject matters. Herbert Wolverson and Stephen Turner bring a wealth of technical skills to RMRI, Inc. from computer programming to computer security consulting.

There are many Private Investigators working today that are ill equipped to do this type of work. They lack the proper training and know how to perform an investigation the correct way. Here at RMRI, Inc. we have everything we need to do almost any type of investigation the right way, from all of the proper video transfer cables to state of the art forensic software, and we have a wealth of experience with using this equipment too. Here in Columbia, Missouri, RMRI, Inc. really has no competition. There are a few licensed Private Investigators in Columbia, Missouri; but none of these Private Investigators have the level of experience, training, and education as the personnel at RMRI, Inc. The fact is that most of the Private Investigators in the Boone County Area try to ride on the coat tails of RMRI, Inc. In early 2010 when the City of Columbia MO. wanted a contract Private Investigator to perform sensitive investigations regarding the Columbia Police Department they called RMRI, Inc. to submit a bid proposal; two of the other Private Investigators in Boone County found out about this and scrambled to submit bid proposals as fast as they could to the City of Columbia, MO.; but the City of Columbia only called ONE Private Investigation Agency to submit a bid proposal and that was RMRI, Inc.! The city of Columbia, MO. knew who to call for serious investigative matters.

HIRING A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR

Many of my clients tell me that one of the scariest decisions that they have ever made was when they decided to hire a Private Investigator. And who could blame them, with all of the things that we see on television? Let me see if I can make this easier for you with four (4) simple rules.

First (1st) of all, ALWAYS hire a licensed Private Investigator. At least you will know that you have hired someone that has had to pass a few checks to be working in this profession. You will also know that if something goes wrong and the Private Investigator does not treat you in an ethical manner, you have some recourse because you can always file a complaint with that Private Investigator's licensing board.

Second (2nd) of all, try to make sure that the Private Investigator you hire is insured. This way, if you do hire a Private Investigator that takes financial advantage of you, you can pursue a civil recourse, and have a good chance of collecting a judgment should you have to sue in civil court.

Third of all (3rd), ask around a little. Call the licensing board that is in charge of licensing the Private Investigator that you are considering hiring, and ask about the Private Investigator. Ask if the Private Investigator has ever had any civil actions initiated against him or her related to their Private Investigation Business, ask if they have a good reputation as a Private Investigator. Normally, the licensing board that governs Private Investigators in it's state or local area will be happy to let you know who you may want to consider more carefully.

Fourth (4th) of all, before you sign a contract with a Private Investigator, be sure that you take the time to have your attorney review the contract to protect your interests. Do not hastily sign a contract with a Private Investigator, hiring an attorney to review the contract may actually save you money.
